Track of Colour, Danby (mixed media, mounted)

I've previously painted this scene in winter but wanted to return in autumn. Thank goodness I did! the colours of autumn, particularly the reds of the spent ferns were an artist's dream! Painted on site above Danby in the North York Moors.
