The picturesque fishing village of Staithes lies on the East Yorkshire coast and has been a haven for artists for years, including the Staithes Group, of whom the most famous member was Dame Laura Knight. It was also home to the young Captain James Cook. This scene is from a location high above the harbour looking down on the small beach.
