One of my favourite views of the picturesque fishing village of Staithes on the Yorkshire coast is this one, high above the harbour, the beach and red roofed cottages. There's a handy seat for placing bits and pieces as well! This was painted on a blistering hot (for Staithes!) day in summer using broad pastel strokes to keep the work loose and full of energy.
