Rolling Light (mixed media, mounted)

The beauty and majesty of the Howardian Hills in Yorkshire from the viewpoint of Yorkshire Lavender, painted on site in November, using washes of watercolour applied in the midst of a howling wind mixed with sleet, followed by pastel applied (thankfully) in beautiful bright winter sun! An expression true to the nature of the day!
