Resevoir Road (mixed media, mounted)

Painted on location on a sunny but incredibly windy day on the rolling hills of Yorkshire looking down towards a distant reevoir, glimmering under a winter sun. Using liquid graphite as a base on which pastel was then applied in an expressive manner to produe an energetic image reminiscent of the breezy day.
