Packhorse Bridge, Stokesley (pastel, mounted)

The wonderful packhorse bridge in the centre of the Yorkshire town of Stokesley dates from the 17th century and crosses the River Leven. This was painted on site on a sunny afternoon, standing on the pavement alongside a more modern bridge, chatting to interested passers by throughout the process
