Gardens Gateway (pastel, mounted)

The formal gardens at Nunnington Hall, a National Trust property in the wonderful North York Moors provided the setting for this plein air painting, with the focus being the external gateway leading out of the gardens. Painted on site on a changeable day, holding an umbrella in one hand to protect against some frequent showers.
