Conistone Village, Yorkshire Dales (pastel, mounted)

Conistone is little village in the Yorkshire Dale lying close to Grassington and Kettlewell. This work was made in mixed media using washes of watercolour and soluble graphite (ArtGraf) together with pastel and was painted on site from a vantage point on a rising hill behind the village.
