Beside Loch Cluanie, Highlands (pastel, mounted)

On my way back from a trip to the Isle of Skye I stopped off in a layby to paint this wonderful view looking towards Loch Cluanie, working quickly to beat the oncoming rain. A wonderful experience with just me and my art in the heart of breathtaking scenery
