Beadnell is a favourite location in Northumberland; perfect for a short break away with the family and our dog (Ella), with the added bonus of great views to paint. This one was painted in February standing on Beadnell Point, a promintory that juts out into the sea that provides a nice view looking back towards the village and, looking the other way, towards Dunstanburgh. However, the bitterly cold wind meant I needed to capture the essence of the scene as quickly as possible and complete the picture back in the studio.
